Deep Energy Retrofit
The 1930’s manor house with its catacomb spaces was the challenge in designing the spaces to offer a comfortable flow from the kitchen area to the breakfast area and the formal dining room.
The clients, who are avid cooks, wanted the old-world details; a wood burning oven and cast iron enamel gas stove, along with the contemporary appliances.
The breakfast area opened through a series of French doors onto a patio overlooking the formal gardens.
